Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage (Psalm 84;5).
Are you a mover or a settler?
‘Oregon or the grave’ read the flag of the Oregon Dragoons, Thomas Jefferson and his nineteen dragoons set of West, having no experience or knowledge of wilderness frontierings. ‘Insane’ cried the New York Tribune. And indeed it was, but not impossible. Fierce, bitter, treacherous, dangerous but not quite impossible.
What does it take to get you to your promised land?
Has religion settled you down, perhaps a revival will set you up! Have you contempt for the things of God or are you disrupted, unsettled,  ready for war on that which has warred with you.
Whats you Motto, Is is do or die or have you settled for less than God’s very best. Yes to get God’s best you have to push through stuff that held previous generations behind. You have to fight bigger giants and forge unfamiliar paths to reach an unreached generation. As a pioneer you cannot just do what youre fathers done, you have to go further, build bigger, climb higher, be more creative and take a bigger risk. You are God’s adventurer.
Unlock the spirit of the pioneer, forget that trail, set your face like flint. go for it make it happen. You are God’s trailblazer.
