For scarcely will a righteous man die yet will peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die, But god commendeth his love toward us, in that yet, while we were sinners Christ died for us. (Romans 5;7)
Theres power in understanding ones righteousness
Authority is always present in the soul that knows his right standing with God.
Understanding our righteousness as a gift from God is essential to walking in dominion
Scarcely would a righteous man die, but for a good man a righteous man may die. There is a difference between a good man and a righteous man. I will use the illustration Dr Martin Jones uses. A man may pay the piano correctly. he hits the right notes ant the right time and has good timing. he is a “good” man, but there is another man who comes along and plays the piano exceptionally well, he is gifted talented and natural in his composition. The good man could do the job, the second man is an artist, It’s his life.
The difference between a righteous man and good man, many a man has laid down his life for another, in times of battle and war for example this has been done. Good men would and could die for another. It don’t say Good men must die for others as not many men will indeed die for another. Then the apostle makes his point. “But God” I like that, But God commendeth his love toward us, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He gave his life for us when we were enemies., that proves the authenticity of his love. For a man would die for a friend but a righteous man, the Christ man, this man, died for us while we were enemies. That’s the difference between a good man and a righteous man.
Much more then being now justified by his blood we shale save forth wrath to come (Romans 5:9), Righteousness covers our sinfulness. Christ death warrants our life. God’s wrath was placed on him so that we should not experience the wrath God. Gods wrath towards us is an event behind us, carried out on calvary. we are pardoned and redeemed. Oh what a future. Not even many Christians believe this! They fear a future death sentence friend, there is a law in America, The law of double jeopardy, which states you cannot try a man for the same crime twice and how much more so have we’ been found guilty and Christ has paid for our sins. Hallelujah! Redeemed how love to proclaim it redeemed by the blood 0f the lamb, redeemed by his infinite mercy his child and forever I am.
You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. much more then, being now justified. yes NOW I am justified whats justified? Just as if I’ve never sinned. Isn’t it time we acted and lived as if we were sin free, cult free, condemnation free!
