The Immutable Deity
Immutable (Hebrew:) Strong’s Vines. The state or being unchangeable God is immutable in character. He changes not. This is interesting as the God of the New Testament is often believed to be different to the God of the Old. “Immutability” the possibility to remain the same throughout time and beyond it. Which means Since God alone is immutable, then “Jesus” the same yesterday today and forever (immutability) cannot be anything less than God. Once God, always God, Father in creation, Father in the incarnation. Father of the new creation. No one can be immutable as our God.
